Blog: Time For a Change

Time For a Change (12/20/2025)

2025 is almost over and with it a few projects will disappear too. I don’t want to beat anything to death but want it to succeed or to fail on its own. If the project fails, then I don’t want to continue to beat it into the ground. I am getting better at evaluating when a project is going to do well and one that won’t. It’s a tough learning curve but saves time in the long run.

Projects that will disappear along with 2025:
1. Black Cat White Hat Security: This one is the main application. A security app that is great but there is no interest from security professionals. It’s a long story.
2. Several sub domain projects that never took off: The Syntax and The Shredding, Mossdale Landing, and Trading Cards to name a few.
3. Self-Promotion: Digital Toolbox SM postings to my personal website will discontinue.

Projects that will continue into 2026:
1. Dogfirmations with Doofie and Dingus: This was a surprise and is doing very well into its second month. This project will be my focus.
2. Blog: I enjoy doing these silly little articles and I want to continue to improve my writing skills so these will be the only self-promotion to my website.

There is a laundry list of feelings, emotions and circumstances that I want to leave behind in 2025 and move forward with something new in 2026. I want to put this past year into my rear-view mirror.

Dogfirmations has been flowing with creativity and fun photos which you can see daily. I have a ton of content in the queue, and the site will continue to grow. Hopefully I won’t mess it up.

2025 Sucks

What are you leaving behind in 2025?
